Singer / Songwriter / Guitarist; Dave Rascon has been performing in the Bay Area and all over Northern California, since he was 7 years old. Born in San Fransico a few blocks from Haight Ashbury August 7, 1960, he grow up around a wide veriety of musical talent, which is the catalyst for his universal style of song writing. The Dave Rascon Bands unique sound is also atributed by the musical talents of his long time friends /band members of 20 years.
Lead guitarist; Paul Wahl has been playing guitar for 44 years. Born on May 16, 1952, his 1960's, 70's and 80's guitar sounding style was inspired by musicans like Bob Dylan, Cream, Hendrix, Albert King, Procal Harum, Grateful Dead, Jefferson Airplane and Bruce Springsteen, to name a few.
Bass guitarist; Rick 'Boss' Knapp was born on August 13,1950. At the age of 5 his mother and grandfather started giving him piano lessons. In 1969 after returning home from the Vietnam war he started playing Bass guitar as therapy for post-traumatic stress disorder. He was inspired by his long time friend Paul Wahl, also, Neil Young, Jack Bruce and John Paul Jones, to name a few.
Drummer / Percussionist; Kevin Owen Gardelle started taking music lessens when he was 8 years old. Born on July 12, 1964 and living in the Bay Area, he too, was bitten by the sounds of the 60's, 70's, and 80's. Kevin really develop his drumming skills while attending San Carlos High School, were he played in the Jazz & school band. Kevin's drum teacher was the well known Mike Currotto, whom also, taught Kevin Aux. Percussion, Vibes, and Maramba. At age 16 he started recording and playing at gigs with many different musicians throughout the Bay Area. Kevin was inspired by Steve Gadd, Chad Wackerman, John Bohman, Rod Morganstien and Phil Collins.
